Protecting the Curious-(Oil)

22 x 28

Well I'm back to making normal paintings again. I ran out of some colors of my glow in the dark paint, so I'm painting some oil paintings to keep me busy while I earn earn enough money to buy more. Glow paints are expensive! Anyway this is a painting of a mother bear and her cub. I love this painting. The baby bear has a very curious way about him. It feels like he wants to run off and go exploring. Mother bears are very protective of their cubs so I decided to call it "Protecting the Curious".I finished it on my birthday (July 5th).

Moonlight Falls- (Glow in the Dark)

Landscape Glow in the Dark Painting in Daylight
18 x 24

Landscape Glow in the Dark Painting
18 x 24
A little while ago I was looking at paintings online and saw some murals which were glow in the dark. I thought that was pretty cool so I started researching on what they used and how they did that. I found some high quality glow paint on a website called glowinc.com which is what Iv'e been using. I've been spending the last month or so experimenting how to use these glow paints.  They're kind of tricky and I have to use different techniques then Iv'e been using in the past. The picture on top is what the landscape looks like in normal light and the landscape on the bottom is what it looks like in the dark! SO COOL!

Green Infinity

Green Tiger Abstract

This is another assignment I got in painting class. Our teacher gave us all an assignment to make a abstract realism painting, which means we had to create something recognizable but be something you would never see in real life. I decided to paint a tiger but make it green. I also added some swirl designs and a space background. Unlike my other assignments I did this painting at home during Christmas break. I just bought some oil paints and I wanted to try them out. This is my very first oil painting.

Perfect Timing

The is another assignment that I was given in one of my art classes. My teacher gave us an assignment to make a abstract painting out of circles. This was paintings done in acrylic and finished in the winter of 2012
